The general objective of the project of which this assignment was a part was to “fight poverty by improving the living and health conditions of the populations through widespread, sustainable and equitable access to drinking water and improved sanitation infrastructure”.
More specifically, the project aimed to “contribute to the achievement of the MDGs by improving access to drinking water and sanitation in the city of N’Djamena and in major urban centres, as well as by strengthening the institutional framework.
