The objective of this project was to support the State Aid Council in further development and implementation of the system of rules and procedures in the area of State aid to ensure a competitive and transparent economic space, greater control of public spending and fulfilment of obligations deriving from international treaties containing provisions on the state aid.
The project is divided into 3 components:
• Component 1: Capacity building of the State Aid Council and the Secretariat.
• Component 2: Increasing awareness on state aid control with the implementing authorities.
• Component 3: Supporting state aid grantors at all levels by raising awareness on state aid and procedures of notification.
