The specific objectives of this assignment were to:
- Raise awareness of EU’s policies, principles and values in Uzbekistan, notably in relation to the promotion of the rule of law, democracy and human rights, good governance, gender equality, the protection of the environment and the fight against climate change.
- Ensure provision of full logistical support to the organisation of events and visibility actions based on the needs of the EU Delegation in Uzbekistan.
In line with the ToR, NOOKOM/C&M provided a logistical, administrative and technical support for the organisation of the three events:
- The EU-Central Asia Connectivity Conference “Global Gateway for Sustainable Development” taking place on November 18th (cca 400 participants).
- Youth Side Event on November 17th (cca 50 participant, 7 of them sponsored).
- Regional Head of Missions and Heads of Cooperation / Counsellors Meeting on November 19th.
All three events took place in Silk-Road Samarkand, Uzbekistan, November 2022.
