C&M is pleased to announce that the TIEG consortium has been awarded a new contract in Mauritania with an overall objective to contribute to the component 2 of the ‘Blue Economy’ action, focusing on the strengthening of the structure of the priority fisheries value chains and strengthening the capacity of economic actors to transform and commercialise small-scale fisheries products.
This project, which is part of the project “The promotion of land infrastructure in the central and southern areas of the Mauritanian coast”, will contribute to, among others:
- Improve the food security in Mauritania;
- Better sustainability of the fishery resources and job creation in this field;
- More efficient and hygienic treatment of the fish landed.
Our team of 4 experts will be responsible for the preparation of the complete tender documentation, including the development of a detailed preliminary design, project documentation, studies and other necessary documents for the contracting of the company responsible for the construction of the marine structure.
The work has started in November 2023 and is expected to be finalised in April 2024.
