C&M is pleased to announce that together with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management we have won a new contract in Jamaica. The project focuses on EU-Jamaica cooperation aiming to build a safe and secure Jamaica in line with Vision 2030 – Jamaica’s national development plan. The citizen safety plan has three components: i) reduction of crime and violence, ii) human and community development, and iii) safer spaces.

The objective of the contract is to improve the security environment in Jamaica by reducing social vulnerability to violence and crime and greater social inclusion of children, youth and women, supporting the cross-cutting objectives of the environment and climate change, rights-based access for persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples and gender equality.

The specific goals of the project are:

  1. To develop and implement a structured communication and visibility campaign to enhance knowledge and engagement among the general public, particularly in vulnerable communities, of government social interventions and crime and violence prevention initiatives.
  2. Highlight the achievements of Citizen Security Plan’s (CSP) social interventions in ZOSOs communities.
  3. Increase awareness about the EU and the Government of Jamaica partnership to improve citizen security in Jamaica.

The teams have started the work in November 2023 and the project is expected to be finalised in May 2025.
