Strengthening Central Asian Connectivity: TCTC Dialogue
The EU Delegation to Uzbekistan hosted a strategic roundtable on the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor (TCTC) in Tashkent on 22 May 2025. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, welcoming both in-person and virtual attendees.
Industry leaders and policymakers advance public-private collaboration on this transformative initiative that promises to greatly enhance Uzbekistan’s access to European and regional markets. Drawing on the EBRD study findings, discussions highlighted investment opportunities in key infrastructure projects including ports, multimodal logistics centres, and warehousing facilities.
The corridor will create a more efficient trade route, reduce dependency on traditional transit paths, and unlock new economic opportunities for Central Asian businesses, with outcomes from this dialogue supporting the upcoming TCTC Investors Forum.
