The global objective of the programme was to create enabling conditions to industrial development in Gaza.
The specific objectives of the services were to design and support the implementation of an incentive program in Gaza Industrial Estate.
TIEG experts provided four separate and sequentially linked components, encompassing all the aspects to be put in place in order to implement an incentive program for companies willing to relocate their productive plants within the premises of GIE (Gaza Industrial Estate) and its related communication and promotional plan:
1. Incentive Program Manual aimed to guide, through rules and procedures, the implementation of a financial incentive program, for companies willing to relocate their productive plants within the premises of GIE.
2. Communication plan and promotional strategy for the implementation of the incentive program, ensuring coordination and complementarity with similar activities planned, in order to optimise the use of resources allocated for such activities.
3. Capacity development. Assessment of the capacity needs of relevant staff, to implement the incentive program throughout the entire programme cycle.
4. Support and strategic advice to the launch of the incentive program including a daily managerial support, in order to accomplish all tasks foreseen for the first weeks of activity under the “Action plan to implement incentive program”.
