In the context of the project: “Phase 4-Logistical Support through Support Measures” Nookom EEIG provided full logistics support to the organisation of the IV International Circular Economy Forum (Foro Internacional de Economía Circular (FIEC)), which was held from November 22 to 26, 2021.

The FEIC is the largest annual Circular Economy (CE) event in Peru and is organized, since 2018, by the Ministry of the Environment (MINAM) and the Delegation of the European Union (DEU) in Peru. This was its fourth edition.

FIEC seeks to be a space for meeting, debate and reflection that brings together different actors involved in the country’s transition to a Circular Economy and it is carried out from the recognition that the effective application of the CE approach will only be possible from the cooperation between the different economic agents.

The Forum had been developed in a collaborative way with the participation of different organizers and collaborators who joined this effort. For the second time the Event was held in virtual format and its central theme was “Fair and decentralized transition towards a CE”. There were more than 10 000 registered participants to each online edition from the Latin America region including high-level representatives – ministers/vice ministers from different Latin American countries, heads of organizations from public and private sector.

Target audience included the representatives of the private sector (producers, companies, business associations or business associations), public sector (national government and regional and local governments), academia, professionals, civil society, national and international, who participate directly and indirectly in economic activities, and with an interest in the CE model.
