The Republic of North Macedonia is committed to using education and training as a means for social and economic development. In the recent year, the government has set strategic direction by continuously allocating a considerable proportion of the national budget for this purpose and in 2020, education expenditure amounted to 10% of the state budget, representing MKD 25,491 billion (around EUR 415.5 million).
The global objective of the project is to contribute to strengthening education sector policy making and to improve the management of the education system. This will contribute to better planning of the educational reforms, and provide ground for more effective analyses and monitoring of all activities in the education sector at national and regional level. More specifically, the TiEG’s Team of Experts will work towards 3 specific objectives:
Development and upon successful testing, putting into production a new web-based information system for collecting and processing the data included in the educational process of the Republic of North Macedonia.
