Consulting & Management has been awarded a strategic large-scale European Union-funded contract to contribute to the implementation of Morocco’s Morocco Gaming Industry Strategy 2030. Delivered over a period of 28 months, the project will strengthen skills development, industry research, international cooperation and business networking to help position Morocco as a leading gaming hub in Africa and the MENA region.
Awarded by the Delegation of the European Union to Morocco, the project will be implemented in close partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication (MJCC) and other key national institutions. It will support Morocco’s ambition to build a sustainable, internationally competitive gaming ecosystem capable of generating high-value employment, attracting international investment and fostering innovation across the country’s creative and digital industries.
The project focuses on three strategic objectives that are central to the national gaming strategy:
- Strengthening gaming education and professional skills through the development of university curricula, professional training programmes, training of trainers and online learning opportunities.
- Enhancing knowledge of Morocco’s gaming ecosystem by delivering comprehensive market studies, ecosystem mapping, international benchmarking and policy recommendations to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Building lasting partnerships between Morocco and the European Union gaming ecosystems by facilitating business networking, international cooperation, knowledge exchange, trade missions and support for future editions of the Morocco Gaming Expo.
Beyond technical assistance, the project will help establish stronger links between public institutions, universities, training providers, game developers, investors and European industry organisations, creating new opportunities for collaboration, innovation and market access. Throughout the assignment, targeted communication and stakeholder engagement activities will ensure broad visibility of project achievements and encourage active participation from the gaming community.
This award further reinforces C&M’s extensive track record in delivering EU-funded projects that combine capacity building, policy support, international cooperation, stakeholder engagement and event management. By supporting one of the world’s fastest-growing creative industries, C&M continues to contribute to sustainable economic development, innovation and stronger partnerships between the European Union and its partner countries.
